Nicolas Carter
Nicolas Carter presents melodies from his new recording: Serenity. Nicolas recently spent two quiet, peaceful weeks at a cabin in the Blacklock Nature Sanctuary, where he devoted himself  to an uninterrupted exploration and recording of new harp music. Enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Paraguayan harp that will uplift and relax your soul.
Nicolas Carter was raised in Paraguay where he learned to play the harp, the national folk instrument. He has been composing, recording and performing harp music for 20 years and has recorded nearly a dozen albums in the United States, Europe and South America, both as a solo artist and with a variety of Latin American and world music ensembles. Nicolas holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in theatre directing from the University of Minnesota and was a Fullbright scholar in France.
The Blacklock Nature Sanctuary fellowship program has been possible thanks to the Blacklock family and the Jerome Foundation.
