Gotham: New York City's Best Writers: Tracy K Smith
Tracy K. Smith is the author of three collections: The Body's Question, which received the Cave Canem Poetry Prize, Duende, which received the James Laughlin Award of the Academy of American Poets, and Life on Mars, which received the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. She has received a Whiting Writers' Award and a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Award. She currently teaches creative writing at Princeton University and lives in Brooklyn. She joins series host Rob Spillman for a discussion of her work and in particular her new memoir, Ordinary Light.
