San Antonio Premiere of Food Chains Film with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers
Food Chains tells us the story of exploitation in the fields dating back to slavery but it doesn't end there! It also shines light on what farmworkers, students, people of faith and the sustainable food movement are doing to eliminate modern-day exploitation through the Fair Food Program!
We are honored to be bringing leaders of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and Student/Farmworker Alliance to showcase their work on the big screen. We'll be joined by leaders from the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and the Student/Farmworker Alliance, who will lead us in a march to Wendy's after the film!
Food Chains has been screened at several film festivals and major cities but has not yet been shown in San Antonio. The San Anto premiere will be at the Esperanza - 922 San Pedro Ave. on Friday, April 3rd at 6pm.
General admission: $5
