MECAmorphosis
MECAmorphosis: Maine College of Art's annual spring gala celebrates the 2015 Thesis Exhibition and introduces over eighty emerging artists graduating from Maine College of Art in the BFA program.
Held in collaboration with Portland's First Friday Art Walk this year, this event will feature cash bars, light fare, and interactive art on Floors 1, 2 + 3 of the College's historic Porteous Building. The evening begins with a Runway Fashion Show in the ICA at 6:30pm (ticket required), which premiers the collections of our majors in Textile and Fashion Design. A private Artist's Party from 7:00-10:00pm on the top floor for will be the highlight of this creative spring event.
MECAmorphosis raises critical scholarship funds to educate the next generation of artists as public intellectuals and creative entrepreneurs.
-General Admission to the Gala on Floors 1, 2 + 3 is Free and Open to the Public (5:00-8:00pm)
-Runway Fashion Show Tickets, which include admission to the Gala, as well as the 6:30pm Runway Fashion Show and Artist's Party from 7:00-10:00pm, are $75
-Host Committee Tickets, which include admission to the Gala, the 6:30pm Fashion Show and the Artist's Party from 7:00-10:00pm, are $150
-Patron Tickets, which include admission to the Gala, the 6:30pm Runway Fashion Show and the Artist's Party from 7:00-10:00pm, are $500
