Las Vegas Comedy Institute To Offer Improvisation Classes April 5th.
Beginning April 5th, 2015 The Las Vegas Comedy Institute founded by Award Winning Comedian, Author and Filmmaker Don Barnhart will expand and offer more stand up, improv and acting classes.
Learn, study and practice the art of improvisation and stand up comedy at the Las Vegas Comedy Institute with Second City Conservatory Graduate, Award Winning Comedian, Author and Filmmaker Don Barnhart.
The Las Vegas Comedy Institute specializing in stand up and improvisation workshops that will teach you the principles of stand up comedy as well as scenic improvisation based on the skills and techniques Barnhart learned as graduate of The Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles.
Although Barnhart's workshops are based in comedy are heavily influenced by the work and teachings of Viola Spolin, this ongoing program covers all elements of the improvisational process including improv, games, sketch writing, and comedic acting.

Award-Winning Comedian Don Barnhart just returned from entertaining the troops overseas and is currently in preproduction on the new comedy film, The Freeloader, which he wrote and stars in. The movie is set to begin shooting in Las Vegas in 2015 and is based on Barnhart's 3rd book of the same name.
Over the last year, Barnhart's film career has really been gaining steam as he stars in the documentary, Finding The Funny with Brad Garret and Louie Anderson directed by comedian John Bizarre and plays a rather disgruntled, road weary and carefree comedian in the upcoming comedy film, Tribute To Fluffy.
The Las Vegas Review/Journal recently named Don Barnhart's comedy show one of their "Best Bets" and he just finished headlining the 2014 Laughlin Comedy Festival alongside Larry The Cable Guy, Dany Carvey and Maryellen Hooper.
Don is also the author of Comedy 101, Creating The Life You Desire and is a contributing author on I Killed. He is also a certified hypnotist and life coach and continues to perform both a stand up and comedy hypnosis show.
Barnhart also serves as one of the top comedy club consultants in the country and is currently involved with the opening and booking of several new comedy clubs throughout the United States as well as booking and producing shows for the military, special events and comedy concerts. Stand Up classes are Sundays from 12-3pm.
