South Mountain GeoBash

Join use for the official launch of the new South Mountain GeoTrail!

We will provide the food, fun and education to get you started with geocaching or to enhance your knowledge of this outdoor activity.

Visit with vendors, local geocaching enthusiasts, be part of a "geohunt" or simply find out more about the local area and the people who live here!

Planned activities include:
Kickoff event with local dignitaries
Education sessions such as Birdwatching, Geocaching 101, Benchmarking, and more!
Musical entertainment by the Blue Mountain Ramblers
Light lunch in the courtyard area
Geohunt game with prizes!

The South Mountain GeoTrail is a project of the Capital Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Area Council, with funding provided in part by the South Mountain Partnership through a grant by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The South Mountain GeoBash is being supported thanks to funding from the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau.
