Patty Larkin Master Class
A self described "guitar driven songwriter," Patty Larkin has wound her way through soundscapes of evocative vocals, inventive guitar wizardry and imaginative lyrics. Patty studied jazz guitar at Berklee College of Music and with Boston area jazz guitarists. In 2008, she produced "La Guitara," a project devoted to great female guitarists of the past and present and the contribution of women to the history of modern guitar. The recording featured 14 artists including Sharon Isbin, Kaki King, Rory Block, and Badi Assad among others. Patty Larkin's main guitar is a 1993 Olson SJ Cutaway, and she also plays a blue Fender Strat is a 1957 reissue made in the late 1980s. Her workshop will explore the techniques and stylings she has developed over a career of more than 25 years.
Class capacity is only 12!
