Rebecca Serrell Cyr: ASSEMBLAGE
Bessie-winner Rebecca Serrell Cyr will present a new evening-length work weaving together previous dance investigations, each concerned with improvisation within pre-fabricated constructs, the phenomenology of performance, and the idea of wilderness within the human realm.
"I do not want to impress meaning upon the viewer with force, but rather create a space of free association viewing. Experience yourself. It is not necessary to repeat my own ideas back to me." -Rebecca Serrell Cyr
