Chahine, a young screenwriter and director, has been turned down for funds for his film. Desperate to produce, he can only think of one solution- to rob a bank. With the help of his two accomplices, he stages a robbery. After the hold-up, the three hide in an elegant apartment building, waiting for things to cool down. All they have to do is hide calmly for a week...but Chahine should have known that things often don't turn out as planned.
