One of the best events in Saint Louis is the Great Forest Park Balloon Race and Glow. The Police Athletic League is partnering with Mardi Gras Inc. to bring you a night of fun for a great cause. Join us under the night sky with dozens of glowing balloons and a wonderful event to benefit PAL.

Youth today face a myriad of choices in how they spend their free time. Too many children choose petty crime, drugs and other negative behaviors. Most often, children make these choices because they lack positive alternatives. The Police Athletic League is a national organization designed to offer a positive environment through sports for children age 5 to 19 to grow and develop. PAL strives to reduce crime by involving at risk youth in athletic, educational and cultural programs. Each team is coached and mentored by off duty Police Officers in cooperation with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. We fill playgrounds, not prisons.
