Friends to the Core, CoreSingingTM Concert
Certified CoreSingingTM Teachers Katy Peterson, Kate Emerich, Nancy Harris, Elizabeth Blades Skinner, Aimee Woods, Sarah Johnson and Cynthia Vaughn sing classical and contemporary songs in a special concert to benefit one of our own!
The story:
Two weeks before the June 2010 CoreSinging Teachers Certification Course in Colorado, Elizabeth "Betsy" Blades Skinner's husband Lee had emergency open-heart, quadruple bypass surgery. The life-saving surgery was successful, however because Lee has a pre-existing condition and the Skinners are self-employed they have no medical insurance. They lost 6-8 weeks of seasonal work in their Allenspark mountain community. Lee insisted that Betsy attend the CoreSingingTM course as planned. Debbie Dixon provided housing to defray expenses. The five day course with founder Meribeth Dayme from France was a life-changing experience and the seven voice teachers formed a bond as colleagues and friends. They decided to give back and pay it forward with a "Friends to the Core" benefite concert for the Skinners. Every cent raised by online and doorsale tickets plus additional donations will go directly to the Skinners to help with their overwhelming medical bills.

All seven singers/voice teachers trained with CoreSingingTM founder Dr. Meribeth Dayme in the US and France. Meribeth will join us via Skype from Lake Annecy, France for the concert.
