Cajón Flamenco Persussion Classes For Kids

Classes conducted in Spanish and English. Small class sizes of up to 10 students. We reserve the right to cancel any classes not meeting minimum participants.
Price: $60 per course. We cannot refund for missed classes.

The cajon is one of the world's most simple musical instruments. It is believed to have originated amongst slave musicians in the Spanish Colonial Americas during the early 1800s.
Today the cajon is extensively used in Afroperuano styles, Afro-Cuban, coastal Peruvian, and flamenco music but is also becoming increasingly popular across many musical genres thought the world.
Both adult and child courses are designed for students that have not previously studied music or percussion. You will start from the beginning playing . You will also explore rhythm and beat, which will help in your musical development. By the end of the course, you will be able to play simple songs and basic melodies.
