Twin Peaks: An Invitation to Love
The Pink Room: David Lynch Burlesque's 4th Anniversary Show: "Twin Peaks: An Invitation to Love" at Parkside Lounge on Friday, March 6, 2015
Can't wail until 2016 for more Twin Peaks? The Pink Room has some sweet cherry pie to help you until then!
"When you really want love, you'll find it waiting for you." Blackie, Twin Peaks
About Twin Peaks: An Invitation to Love: Valentine's Day might disappoint but, like music, there is always love in the air at The Pink Room Burlesque! If romance fizzles in February, here's another chance to make it sizzle with more Twin Peaks burlesque! Your life may sometimes feel like a soap opera within a soap opera but at The Pink Room there is only love and other weird, scary shit. On Friday, March 6th, join Deputy Andy and his baby mama Lucy Moran while we discover Agent Cooper's one true love: DONUTS. One Eyed Jack's madam "Blackie" leads you down a dark road of sex and drugs while "good ol' Pete" Martell serves his love of coffee piping hot and hopefully without a fish in the percolator. The Lady in the Radiator keeps the room steaming hot with some Eraserhead realness and producer, Francine "The Lucid Dream" has some surprises in store as Invitation to Love's Jade/Emerald.
The Pink Room Burlesque is a tribute to and satire of the works of David Lynch. Since the anniversary of Laura Palmer's death in February of 2011, Francine and The Pink Room cast have covered everything from Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me, Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, to Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead & Inland Empire.
