Happily After and Separation Anxiety - Double Feature Screening - Chicago, IL

Glass City Films, a young and exciting Chicago-based film company, has released three feature-films and a slew of smaller projects in just three years! Be there for the Chicago premiere of two of its newest SAG features, Happily After and Separation Anxiety, while taking place in an Industry Night Event!

HAPPILY AFTER (7pm):
The genre-bending film, Happily After, follows Tristan Rochester, a young and quirky man who falls head-over-heels for a young divorcee, Trisha Reynolds. After showering her with affection and the potential promise of being a loving guardian for her son Landon, Tristan feels ready to take that fateful next step, but Trisha must first make a choice between the two men in her life: the charming, enigmatic Tristan, who strives to become her ideal husband, or her jealous ex-husband Matt, who slowly discovers the truth about his competitor.

SEPARATION ANXIETY (9:30pm):
Twenty-somethings Bailey, Quinn, and Jess are the unlikeliest of friends, yet the bonds of high school are forever cemented in their hearts despite their differences. However, as time has passed, Quinn's career move to California has amplified those differences, as Bailey struggles to find an art school that will accept him and Jess waits for lightning to strike within the confines of their small Midwestern hometown.

One day, without warning, Bailey dies - seemingly as a result of an accident at the dam nearby, where he used to hang out. The sudden emotional turmoil forces Quinn, stranded at an airport where he befriends fellow passenger Lily, and Jess, preparing for the funeral with Bailey's father, to confront their feelings - about each other, about Bailey, about their own lives - all the while trying to determine if it was an accident or the result of a successful suicide attempt after such rough times.
