BRAVE NEW MUSIC presents TRIO DINICU
Highly regarded for their unique virtuosity and creativity, TRIO DINICU blends the depth of classical training with the spontaneity of jazz and the excitement of European folk tradition. Each member of the Trio (Luanne Homzy,violin;Tommy Davy,Guitar;Marlon Martinez,Double Bass)brings their individual personality to the ensemble, conversing in an inventive and improvisatory language. Their sound honors a select circle of musicians from the Parisian-Russian clubs of the 1950's to the late 90's. There is also a strong influence of the late jazz Manouche guitarist Django Reinhardt in the Trio's voice.
Local wines, craft brews, and kombuchas are available for purchase throughout the evening.
SHED's Cafe offers a delicious array of small plates for your enjoyment until 7 p.m. prior to the concert.
