They Don't Make Man Friends Like They Used to!
CIC Theater Presents sketch comedy from three of Chicago's manliest men:
Dan White, Paul Chimko, and Chandler Goodman.
The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him." -G.K. Chesterton
CHANDLER GOODMAN: THEY DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THEY USED TO is a one-man show about man-boys in the age of the iPhone. Chandler Goodman has not seen or known war, but he does have a degree in Political Science, a tablet-only subscription to the New York Times, and two copies of The West Wing: Season 3* on DVD. It is directed by Tim Lyons, who is very talented and shares the writer-performer's fondness for sweaters.
"And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." -Kahlil Gibran
MAN FRIENDS is a sketch show about friendships. Written and performed by real-life man friends Paul Chimko and Dan White, it is directed by Scott Goldstein, whom neither regard as a friend.
