Vintage Washington - A benefit for the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation
The Board of Directors of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation invites you to share in a splendid evening of wine, hors d'oeuvres, and fashionable company at the historic Stimson-Green Mansion on First Hill.
This festive event, being held to celebrate the preservation of Washington's unique historic places and featuring Washington state wines, will take place on September 30. In addition to tempting palates with premium wines from Seven Hills, Reininger, Walter Dacon, and Thurston Wolfe Wineries, we will be serving generous hors d'oeuvres, scrumptious chocolate samples, and offering tours of our stunning Seattle landmark, the Stimson-Green Mansion. We are delighted to feature King County Executive and Washington Trust Board member, Dow Constantine, as our special guest. Dow is a long time advocate for historic preservation and the Trust is thrilled to have his continued support in preserving the places that matter in Washington state.
The Wineries:
Seven Hills Winery - Established in 1988, Seven Hills Winery is one of Walla Walla Valley's oldest and most respected wineries. Guided by founder, winemaker and fourth generation farmer, Casey McClellan, Seven Hills Winery crafts an acclaimed portfolio of vineyard-designate and appellation-inspired wines. Focusing on benchmark Cabernet Sauvignons and Bordeaux-varietal reds, the wines of Seven Hills have played an important role in establishing the region's reputation for world-class winemaking, and are recognized as some of the finest wines in the Northwest.
Reininger Winery - Reiniger Winery, located in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley, specializes in crafting elegant and finely structured red wines from hand-harvested, ultra premium grapes. From our first release in 1997, Reininger wines have possessed a unique quality derived from the winemaker's awareness of and passion for the natural elements that make great wines.
Walter Dacon Wines - Walter Dacon Wines is dedicated to Rhine and Mediterranean style wines and sources grapes from select vineyard sites in the Yakima and Columbia Valleys of Washington State. Our wines bring home the richness of a centuries-old tradition of vinification. Hand crafted through the unique art of blending, which is the rule in the Rhine, and aged in French and American oak barrels, Walter Dacon wines reveal the underlying fruit blended with a gentle, precise use of oak.
Thurston Wolfe Winery - Dr. Wade Wolfe and Rebecca Yeaman started Thurston Wolfe Winery in 1987 to realize their dream producing unique, finely-crafted wines in small case lots. Together, they have coaxed outstanding wines from a number of grape varietals not commonly used at other Washington State wineries. They have combined Wade's extensive knowledge of area vineyards with their passion for blending to create truly memorable wines like Dr. Wolfe's Family Red and PGV. Their focus on producing exceptional wines has won numerous awards for Thurston Wolfe. Their goal of producing small lots of exceptional wines from the best vineyards in Washington State is fully realized in this year's vintages, many of which are already sold out.

My Divine Chocolates - Pour l'amour du chocolat! My Divine Chocolates is an artisan Seattle chocolatier who focuses on producing hand crafted chocolates by using only the finest and freshest ingredients.
