"Opera Ballet in the City"
"Opera Ballet in the City" at The Theatre at Meydenbauer Center, 11100 NE 6th Street, Bellevue WA 98004, Saturday, March 21st at 7:30 PM and Sunday March 22nd at 2:00 PM Introducing City Opera Ballet, featuring Bellevue City Opera and Ballet Bellevue, the two divisions of this new treasure for Bellevue. Live music is performed by Orchestra Bellevue (Music Director/Conductor: Philip Tschopp). Opera aficionados and balletomanes alike will be delighted with this production including arias from Faure, Mascagni and Debussy, classical ballet from Paquita, contemporary ballet by Jennifer Porter to music of Philip Glass, highlights of The Fairy Queen, and a preview of the company's first opera, The Marriage of Figaro, coming in August 2015.
