Foraging Your Native Garden with Pascal Baudar
Learn how to forage your own native gardens. We will discuss the culinary uses for commonly found garden variety natives plants. Manzanita berries, sage leaves, buckwheat flowers and other native flora are not just beautiful but can be delicious as well. In this workshop we will tour the Ranch site and discover the wonders of your own backyard pantry. The workshop will end with a tasting of culinary delights.
Limit: 15 participants. Early registration is strongly recommended due to limited space. It is The Ranch's policy to keep classes an intimate size to make your 'hands-on' learning experience more enjoyable.
This class is part of the Huntington Ranch's "Ecosystem-Based Gardening Workshop Series" and is intended for the Advanced Gardener.
Make sure you include a current email address when registering. A reminder email will be sent out to participants.
