Parejas Cellars Winemaker Seminar

Please join local winemaker and instructor Mark Wysling, owner of Parejas Cellars, as he pours his wines at The Barrel Thief on Thursday, Feb. 26th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Mark makes fantastic wines from traditional Spanish grape varietals grown in Washington's Yakima Valley. The tasting is $5, fully refunded with the purchase of one or more bottles of wine. Mark's wine are delicious & affordable!

Mark will also be offering the first of our new series of Winemaker Seminars on the 26th, from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Here, you can learn about real-world winemaking...the challenges and opportunities faced by winemakers, and the resources and techniques they have to address them. Winemaking looks like such a romantic endeavor, but is truly dynamic, challenging, and involves plenty of creativity and problem solving. Mark will answer your questions in a small-group setting, with a maximum group size of 15...perfect for anyone who's studied wine or is keenly interested in it, and wants to learn more about the nitty gritty details of elevating grapes to the beverage we enjoy. The seminar is $10, and includes the wine tasting, as well as a special taste of wine not included in the public portion of the event.
