At a very young age Markus found satisfaction in entertaining. Performing for his peers and classmates became a way to cope with the troubling path he found himself on. Inspired by comedian Martin Lawrence, Markus began doing impersonations of "Sheneneh". From that day on the comedy bug took hold of the aspiring comedian. He would perform at talent shows and the local Boy and Girls Club every chance he got.
While going to the Art Institute of Dallas, the aspiring comic decided to drop out of the culinary arts program and he moved back to Phoenix to pursue his comedy career.
In October 2001 he would make his comedy debut at Rascals Comedy Club. The up and coming comedian started honing his craft performing at open mic nights, comedy contest and one night shows. Going by the stage name of Booge, he would become a regular in the comedy scene around the Phoenix valley.
Markus "Booge" Williams infuses his troubled childhood, CPS, his experiences as the child of an addict, and the many random event from his life into his material. The now veteran comedian has a unique way of story telling and making an emotional connection with his audience.
Booge has opened up for numerous comedy greats such as Jake Johanson, Jaimie Kennedy, Brad Williams, Jeff Dy and Rodney Perry to name a few.
He is guaranteed to have a smile of his face which he ready to transfer to yours with his fearless and random style of comedy.
