Sensational Meats
Enjoy the fall flavors by the Reedy River, at the beautiful location of The Lazy Goat.
On the menu, well again folks, we are talking about very small producers, with limited quantities. Chef Rodney Freidank will prepare for you beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and maybe some others, but above all it will be very good, very clean, very fair.
Don't expect a steak and baked potato. Instead, discover the melt in your mouth flavors of deliciously nutty meats, unadulterated and simply prepared. You won't believe what is raised nearly in your own backyard! Understand why an animal raised under real sun, eating real grass, with real wind blowing through the Southern sky makes a difference in the taste on your plate.

It all starts on the farm with farmers who care about their products, who grant good animal welfare towards their livestock, resulting in a low-stress environment where cows, pigs, sheep and poultry grow at a natural pace, so much so that there is no need for antibiotics, steroids, hormones or other drugs. These farmers understand the enormous benefits to grass raised live stock make in your health.
The great difference in taste is also due to careful attention and respect to animals in butchering practices, where there is no stress on the animal, creating a delicious meat, free of sour or acidic flavors.
