FOR THE LOVE OF BROADWAY

The incredible talents of 12 of The Huntsville Theatre Company's members have produced a medley of songs from some of Broadway's most popular musicals. For 2 shows only, Friday February 20 and Saturday February 21 at 7:00pm, each show will kick off with a complimentary wine and cheese pre-show celebration with the show commencing at 7:30 at The Studio Theatre at Chaffey Hall in Huntsville. This upscale event will be hosted by Mel Candelaria from The Moose 105.5 FM and promises to have audiences laughing at the comedy productions and mesmerize with the dramatic and moving ones.
From Phantom of the Opera to Les Miz, from Avenue Q to Chicago, Miss Saigon to Oliver and more, 20 musical numbers will be performed in full costume and make-up by the talents of Amy Wallace, Andy Bartle, Chris Wallace, Clayton Stroud, Dyanna Prisk, Emilie Stroud, Hailey Scott, Hutch, Jodie Auckland, Lauren Saunders, Steven Jacklin and Veronica Leonard.
"The musical numbers performed will be that, performed. Not just standing up to a microphone on stage, but acted out very close to how you would have enjoyed it performed in a full-blown production" says producer Jan Jacklin.
This red-carpet event is a first for the Huntsville Theatre Company as they continue to provide opportunities for the incredible local talent Muskoka is blessed with.
