Our Mission: Motivating, Inspiring, Supporting and Serving Sexually Exploited Youth (MISSSEY) advocates and facilitates the empowerment and inner transformation of sexually exploited youth by holistically addressing their specific needs. MISSSEY collaborates to bring about systemic and community change to prevent the sexual exploitation of children and youth through education, training and outreach.
This year our Inspire Change Gala will also lift up three extraordinary women. The "I AM MISSSEY" Awards will recognize three women of integrity, purpose and vision who have been with MISSSEY since its beginning and stand with us still today. These women are:
-Nola Brantley, MISSSEY's fearless founding Executive Director -Nancy O'Malley, Alameda County District Attorney, pioneer in recognizing human trafficking and ardent MISSSEY champion -Rita Mitchell, longtime MISSSEY volunteer, mentor, donor and ambassador
