Autentica PFA: Chef Oswaldo Bibiano and his cuisine from Guerrero
Guerrero meets Mexico City
Oswaldo Bibiano is one of Portland's favorite chefs, and at Autentica, Chef Oswaldo serves the food from whence he came, Guerrero, the state on the southwestern coast of Mexico where Acapulco welcomes so many from the North. What he serves at Autentica is not "Mexican" as most Americans know it. Using the unique flavors of his childhood, Oswaldo builds powerful, sophisticated dishes that have bedazzled Portlanders for almost 10 years. In the time since he opened Autentica, many people came to love both Mextica and his taco joints, Uno Mas, which were just featured on Aaron Sanchez' Taco Trip on the Cooking Channel.
Also featured on that show is Mi Mero Mole's Nick Zukin. Nick has traveled extensively and brings back Mexico City's famed guisados to Portland, at two of his Me Mero Mole outposts.
PFA and Chef Oswaldo are pleased to have Chef Nick in the kitchen to prepare one of the courses in this awesome PFA for people with adventuresome palates. Let's go to Mexico!

LEGAL STUFF (and SMOKING POLICY): Please read before buying tickets. We respectfully request that guests REFRAIN FROM SMOKING DURING THE EVENT (this means getting up during the dinner and going outside to smoke, and returning), as this is a communal dining experience. Portland Food Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to any patron who smokes or acts in an inappropriate manner. No refund will be given, since the restaurant will have planned the meal for a particular number of guests. Since this is a communal dining experience we ask you to be respectful of other guests and restaurant employees in every respect. There may be expiration dates for your certificates. Tickets are non-refundable, but buyers may call 503 208 4290 to change the name of the reservation at will-call up 24 hours before the event, if for whatever reason you choose to give the ticket to someone else.
By coming to this event, unless you request otherwise in writing, you acknowledge that there will be photographers at the event, and the use of your image in blogs or for any reasons is authorized by you. Please inform any guests for whom you are buying tickets.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: If the restaurant is open on the night of the event, the event goes on. Refunds or credits for a future events will be issued within a week after the event, only if the restaurant is closed on the night of the event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
