Out by Ten: What Just Happened with Nina Wise
Improv...Theater...Dance...Comedy... Out by Ten producer Susan Seliger presents award-winning, provocative performance artist Nina Wise who has been described as a cross between Lily Tomlin, the Dalai Lama and Jules Feiffer. Wise's improvisational one-woman show, What Just Happened, based on whatever has happened to her in the last 24 hours, played to sold-out audiences at The Marsh in San Francisco and Berkeley.
THE ARTIST Nina Wise weaves movement and physicality with humor, irony and insight into powerful and very funny narratives that just might make you see your own life in a new way.
She has won seven Bay Area Theatre Critics' Circle Awards, three fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and four from the Marin Arts Council. She is the founder of Motion Theater and has taught performance at JFK University, UC Santa Cruz, SF State University, the University of Southern California, Stanford University and the University of Wisconsin.
Wise is author of A Big New Free Happy Unusual Life (Broadway Books) to give people who aren't able to take one of her Motion Theater workshops a way to shape their own life stories and live freer happier lives.
PRESS RAVES Her innovative and spontaneous approach to telling her stories has earned her praise across the country.
