Garotas Suecas mixes their own Brazilian blend of tropicalia meets motown that caters to a wide variety of audiences ranging from garage/indie rock to world music lovers and funk and brazilian fans.
Their recent trip to the USA this past March, around SXSW was amazing. Their showcase was sold out at SXSW and all their NY shows were huge successes They've also received praise from NPR, Time out NY and NY Times.
This is going to be their album release tour around their debut full length on American Dust.
Local up and comers, Duchess, will open.
