Ladies & Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones Flashback to 1972
Arena Theater will present Rock'n Roll Thursdays in September with the screening on four consecutive Thursdays of recently released movies featuring rock'Ân roll legends The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and Phil Spector.
On Thursday, September 16, Arena Theater presents "ÂLadies & Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones Flashback to 1972" featuring the Stones in concert captured at the height of their careers during the 1972 North American tour. This infamous Stones in Exile album release tour featured some of the Rolling Stones greatest all time hits including ÂBrown Sugar, You Can't Always Get What You WantÂ, Jumpin Jack Flash and more. Noted rock critic Dave Marsh would later write that the tour was Âpart of rock and roll legend and one of the Âbenchmarks of an era. The concert footage was captured from front row seats by Bob Freeze and Steve Gebhardt (Butterfly Films owned by John Lennon) during 4 shows in Ft. Worth and Houston, Texas giving movie theatre audiences the unique position of being in the audience during the 1972 concerts. The two hour film is a presentation of NCM Fathom. Show time is 7:30 PM. Tickets are $12.00.
All shows begin at 7:30 PM and doors open at 7:00 PM. The Arena Theater Bar and the snack stand will be open. All tickets are available at www.arenatheater.org and at the door.
Arena Theater is located at 214 Main Street, Point Arena, California. Arena Theater is a member-supported community theater owned and operated by the Arena Theater Association, a 501 (c) (3) not for profit corporation. For additional information visit: www.arenatheater.org
