Rising Star Ari Boutris

Join us for the inaugural performance of the Camellia Symphony's Rising Stars series. Young virtuoso violinist Ari Boutris joins Maestro Christian Baldini and the Camellia Symphony Orchestra at Benvenuti Performing Arts Center in Sacramento.

Fourteen year old New York violinist Ari Boutris is a scholarship student of Patinka Kopec at the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College and an 8th grader at Collegiate School. His solo performances include Czech Virtuosi Orchestra, Stamford Youth Philharmonic, Seniors Orchestral Society and MSM Pre-College Symphony. Recitals in Cape May, San Francisco, and NYC - including Columbia, Trinity/Wall Street, MSM Greenfield Hall. Heard on Israel Radio and WQXR Young Artists Showcase and attended Greenwood Music Camp and the Keshet Eilon International String Master Course, he has won 1st prizes in the Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic competition, Lyra Music Competition, and MSM Pre-College Concerto competition and taken Master Classes with Ivry Gitlis, Glenn Dicterow, David Kim, Ani Kavafian, Pieter Schoeman, Brian Lewis, and Laura Frautschi. He plays a fine Nicolò Amati violin generously provided by The Beares International Violin Society through J&A Beare Ltd, London.
