FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2010

Fear Factor: Canine Edition is a story about love, life and death, and the somewhat misguided adventures of a man and his very trusting, highly instinctual, very forgiving, service dog.

Charli Haynes - "A Boomer Babe Gone Bad"

"A Boomer Babe Gone BAD "
CHARLI HAYNES was a tap dancer at the age of five. She met her first agent in a department store    bathroom…...

And from that auspicious beginning, CHARLI HAYNES life took off at rocket speed and hasn't slowed since.
The one woman stage show, "A BOOMER BABE GONE BAD"  is the riotously funny, sometimes heartbreaking story of Charli Haynes as she moves from child actress to ingenue, ballet diva to professional wrestler, jazz singer to stand up comedienne, with side trips to some very funny and very touching spots along the way.

An LA native, Charli has trained as an actress, singer and ballet dancer, done sitcoms and standup, been a waitress and a stripper....but through it all has kept her dream and spirit alive and kicking...."A BOOMER BABE GONE BAD"is a celebration of not just one life, but all of our lives, as a shining example of what happens when we keep our dreams alive.

"A BOOMER BABE GONE BAD" written and performed by CHARLI HAYNES.
....IT'S A STORY ABOUT LIFE...AND SURVIVING IT!

MAGICAL! -Magnet Daily

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2010

8:00

Eileen O'Connell "Just Keep Talking"

This solo performance is the journey of a young woman discovering how her Irish-born Father has impacted her life.  Told in a comedic style, this heartwarming tale takes us from Eileen O'Connell's childhood up to her Father's illness and eventual death.  She discovers that her Father's love was shown to her through a game, a joke or a song.  Eileen finds that she can indeed carry on.  Her Father, in the true sense of the phrase, is survived by her.

9:00

Tanya Perez "Honor & Fidelity: The Ballad of a Borinqueneer"

"Honor & Fidelity" is a multi-character solo show with music about a woman's journey to find her cultural identity by unraveling the history of her family's past. This show is filled with humor and pathos about love, devotion to one's country & what it means to be Puerto Rican. Don't miss this beautiful little story set at the San Juan boarding gate in JFK, accented with both live music played by Carlos Cuestas and recorded original music by my grandfather Gelin Colon.  Originally performed by Tanya Perez and directed by Lorca Peress to sold out audiences at both the Downtown Urban Theater Festival at the historic Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC and Teatro La Tea's ONE Festival

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2010
