Photography Fundamentals with Blair Sneddon

You may recognize Blair Sneddon's captivating photographs from our Facebook page. Learn the secret to Blair's magic in this three-part series on photography fundamentals and rule-breaking. Blair will first teach you the basics and then move right on to how to break those rules. At the end of these three classes you will be able to take control of your photographs! The camera will rule your images no more!

Class 1 Physical Technique:
photography history, camera basics, the camera as the mechanical-eye (beginner to intermediate skill level)

Class 2 Psychological Technique:
how to manipulate the viewer, art history time line of conceptual photographers, photo assignments for class 3
(beginner to advanced skill level)

Equipment: bring any camera you are comfortable with: point and shoot or manual; digital or film; pin-hole, FunSaver, or fancy shmancy Hasselblad. Also bring a pen and notebook.

Snacks will be served at each class.

Bonus: Photoworks will give all series' students a 10% discount on processing and printing.

Note: Your ticket includes all three class sessions. If you are interested in attending only part of the series, that is fine, but you must pay the price for the full series.
