November by David Mamet
David Mamet has created a hilarious comedy about bad behavior in high places. U.S. President Charles Smith wants a second term, but the outlook is bleak. Poll numbers are in single digits, his campaign manager has gone on vacation, there is no money in the war chest, and his wife is already decorating his memorial library. His only hope comes from the turkey lobby, and involves pardoning a turkey or two before Thanksgiving; and his brilliant speechwriter, who has her own demands. From the 2005 Broadway season.
"A wall-to-wall laugh track" NY Times. "Howlingly funny..." Chicago Tribune.
