FSGW Midwinter Festival
Come out and play (and dance and sing)! It's time for the FSGW Midwinter Festival or "Mini-Fest".
The annual celebration of all things FSGW: Chanteys and shape note singing, doo-wop and duets, English dance and Irish laments, banjos and bodhrans, ballads and story-telling. Dance all day, or try some of the 40+ workshops, concerts and dances at seven different venues throughout the school (plus unscheduled hallway shenanigans, sometimes involving Morris dancers, bells, sticks and hankies).
Crafts and snacks will be available for sale.
Discounted prices for members of the Folklore Society of Greater Washington and for large families.
You can come for all day (noon to 10:30 pm), or just during the day (noon to 6PM) or evening (6 to 10:30PM) for a slightly reduced admission.
