> Special Pre-season Concert: Totally Telemann
La Follia presents a special pre-season concert featuring the vocal and instrumental music of Georg Philipp Telemann, Germany's most prolific and, in his time, most celebrated Baroque composer.
The Guinness Book of Records cites Georg Philipp Telemann as the most prolific composer of all time. But what is more astonishing is how - in spite of its quantity - Telemann's music is always fresh, inventive, and captivating. It is a delight to hear as well as to perform.
Performing on this concert will be guest Andrew Hallock, countertenor, newcomers Billy Traylor, Baroque oboe and JiMin Kim, harpsichord, and La Follia regulars Joan Carlson, violin, Marcus McGuff, Baroque flute, Scott Horton, theorbo, and Keith Womer, organ
