On September 3, we will be helping the Hello?Repeat label celebrate their five year anniversary. With just 16 releases since it launched in 2005, each and every one of them essential listening, it is clear that Hello?Repeat favors quality over quantity. In the past few years, Hello?Repeat has really been pushing the visual side of their label as well, with brilliant full cover record sleeves and a new series of limited edition t-shirts. Tonight we present the North American debut of the Hello?Repeat Soundsystem, which is label founders Jan Krueger and Daze Maxim in tagteam DJ mode. They are known for playing super extended sets, so we're turning the back room over to them for the entire 8 hours of the party.

Jan Krueger has been involved in the German techno scene since the mid-90's, doing everything from DJing, to throwing parties, to a stint as sales manager at the highly respected distributor Word and Sound. A few years ago, he left Word and Sound to focus on his DJ career and Hello?Repeat. Jan has made quite a name for himself in Berlin, appearing regularly at Watergate, Panorama Bar, and Club Der VisionÃÃ,¤re. His rise to fame in North America happened incredibly quickly when he appeared as a special guest at both Seth Troxler's and Daniel Bell's DEMF afterparties and stole the weekend. He has since established himself as in NYC with six successful appearances at The Bunker, and is now one of our resident DJs. This will be Jan's last set in New York until 2011, so catch him while you can!

Although New Yorkers may not be as familiar with him as Jan Krueger, due mostly to the fact that Jan has become such a regular face behind The Bunker decks, Daze Maxim is truly a force to be reckoned with. He has been producing and releasing music for 14 years, putting out records on labels such as Harthouse, Cocoon, and Platzhirsch Schallplatten. It was his releases over the past few years on Hello?Repeat, under his own name and his Heartz4 alias, that really caught our attention and found their way to The Bunker dancefloor. They exist comfortably somewhere between the deepest house and the strangest techno, and have been heavily utilized by DJs from both camps, appearing on compilations from Luciano, Steve Bug, Sebo K, and many others. In additon to his many achievements as a producer, Daze has a reputation as a highly skilled DJ with the intuition to drive a dancefloor mad. We've been trying to get Daze to The Bunker since we met Jan two years ago, and are excited it's finally happening on this special night.

Clone Records of The Netherlands has become a legendary organization in the electronic dance music world over the past 15 years. Clone was founded in Rotterdam as a record store in the mid-90s after Hotmix closed, and today is on the caliber of Hard Wax and Rub-A-Dub, but infused with it's own unique musical view that allows for thicker and sometimes warmer soulful sounds to come to the fore. Shortly before it was a record store, Clone was also a record label with the simple goal of entertaining themselves with the music they released. Clone began releasing freaky new music from then unknown Dutch artists, and eventually released Adult.'s iconic "Hand to Phone" picture disc and Drexciya's final album, amongst many other highlights. In early 2009, many music lovers' hearts sunk when we heard the news that the Clone label was shutting it's doors for good. However, a few months later, we were elated with the announcement that there were going to be at least seven Clone sub-labels popping up to pick up the slack. Since then, the quality and love put into both reissues and new material really outshines everyone else in techno, ranging from Dopplereffekt to Larry Heard to Italo Disco gems. Whatever trends come and go, you know that Clone is always finding startlingly good music that constantly reveals new things about the true sources of electronic dance music. In addition to it's already amazing online vinyl emporium, Clone has recently launched the Clone Digital download shop. For a nice introduction to Clone, you could do a lot worse than checking out RBMA's fireside chat with Serge.

Despite being the youngest member of the Clone family at only 20 years old, Space Dimension Controller is one of the most talked about artists in electronic music at the moment. After releasing a few ambient releases under his RL/VL alias, SDC burst onto the scene in 2009 with the "Love Quadrant" single, an otherworldly mixture of ambient, space disco, and electro funk, which became one of our favorite releases of the year. He followed this with a nice electro album called "Unidentified Flying Oscillator", which you can download for free from Acroplane Recordings. In recent months, he appeared on Clone's Royal Oak sublabel alongside Kyle Hall, and remixed Fabrice Lig for the legendary R & S imprint. All of these releases represent some of the most interesting music we've heard in the past year, so we jumped at the chance to bring Space Dimension Controller to Brooklyn to present the North American debut of his live set.

We don't know a whole lot about Dexter, outside of the fact that he has released some of the sickest deep electro, acid, and techno records we've ever heard ... and we didn't need to know more than that to book him. Dexter has taken a strong influence from early hip-hop and electro, the first Detroit techno productions and his peers in the Dutch scene and created his own unique sound. He founded both the Klakson label and it's sublabel Dolly with Steffi, who appeared at The Bunker as part of the Panorama Bar residency last month. Tonight marks an extremely rare North American appearance from Dexter, with a full hardware live set.

Serge, owner and operator of Clone, is the hardest working man in Rotterdam. World reknown record store, multiple record labels, a distributorship, international DJ career, and a family. We have no idea how this man has time to have such good taste. Serge played a really magical DJ set at the No Way Back we threw with Interdimensional Transmissions in May, and we've heard ground reports from Derek Plaslaiko in Berlin that he tore Panorama Bar a new one at a recent Clone night there. Aside from appearing regularly at the best underground parties worldwide, Serge makes regular appearances at big clubs like Fabric and Rex. The Clone empire simply would not exist without the vision and dedication of Serge.

Bethany Benzur is Kiss & Tell's resident disco encyclopedia and vinyl purist from Georgia. Recently relocated to Brooklyn, Bethany has been ruling the dancefloor at Kiss & Tell parties with her Southern charm. The DJ nerds are regularly awed by her selections of raunchy electro, glamorous dark disco, and soulful street funk. Bethany is honored to be opening up for this showcase of one of her favorite labels, and we are thrilled to have her on board.
