A little about Mr. Monsoon:
After several years of hard work, Johnny has become one of the US's brightest up and coming DJ's. From an opening set where you'd hear a melodic progressive sound, to a peak hour set full of uplifting youphoria, he continues to push the envelope night after night. You can find his live sets being shared in online forums and airing on internet radio stations all over the world. He had his own show on c89.5fm (one of the most popular electronic radio stations in the nation) for over 2 years. He has a podcast series on iTunes called "The Sound of Trance" that is consistently ranked in the top 25 audio podcasts and is one of the most popular on all of iTunes. With roughly 130,000+ downloads per episode and growing, it's clear that people all over the world are taking notice. He's now spending most of his free time in the studio working on taking that step up towards the next level.
- Resident DJ at the Last Supper Club (#1 nightclub in Northwestern US) since 2005.
- Direct opening act for artists such as: Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, ATB, Above & Beyond, Blank & Jones, Kyau & Albert, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Christopher Lawrence, George Acosta, Morgan Page, Tom Novy and Jimmy Van M to name a few.
- Hand picked as the opener for a crowd of 7000 people at Seahawk Stadium with Paul Van Dyk, Rabbit in the Moon and many more in July 2007 for USC 10.
- Played on MTV Vancouver (Canada) in 2005 on a show called "Select" that aired to over 2,000,000 households.
- Hosted "The Sound of Trance" radio show on c89.5fm monthly for 2+ years.
- Headlined on the main stage at Freaknight 13 in Seattle with Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Benny Benassi and Yoji in front of a crowd of 7500.
