Shadwell is a Boston-based band that sounds like Aaron, Ben, Jimmy, Rob and Stephen playing instruments and singing together. Think somewhere between Brit-rock and straight ahead American rock....maybe split the difference and call it mid-Atlantic rock.
In 2007, Shadwell released its self titled EP with the help of producer Tom Polce (CBS Records). Since then, the band has continually played throughout the northeast including frequent stops at Boston's The Middle East, Paradise Rock Club, and T.T the Bears and New York's Arlene's Grocery and Pianos.
Indie pop darlings Violet Nine got a huge boost from being featured on Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music Presents: Malik Yusef - G.O.O.D. Morning, G.O.O.D. Night. Now back in the clubs - don't miss the opportunity to see this amazing band.

Mixing the organic tones of alternative country and the sweeping melodies of britpop. One gets the sense that if Belle & Sebastian were American, this may have been their sound.
