The Wiseguys Present Storytellers Unplugged
The Wiseguys Present Storytellers Unplugged Saturday, August 21 at Zinnie's East Full Moon Club, 1718 Madison Avenue, Memphis at 8:30 p.m. This show combines storytelling and improv for an evening's entertainment you won't want to miss! Scheduled storytellers include Melissa Anderson Sweazy, Caleb Sweazy, and Michael Danziger!
Melissa Anderson Sweazy is a writer and photographer and hopes that her Kid N Play Funky Charleston qualifies her as a triple threat. Her work has been featured in LA Weekly, Southern Bride, Nerve.com and Babble.com's first collection Dirt is Good For You. She promises her book Veiled Remarks: A Curious Compendium for the Nuptially Inclined is the best shower gift ever. More of her work can be seen on her blog (Blogger's Blog of Note for January 2010) modernmedusahead.blogspot.com. Her work-in progress, 3 year old Harlow, is just awesome.
Caleb Sweazy, in addition to being Melissa's husband, is a musician and an actor. He can currently be seen with Cotton and Coal, a great band based in Memphis, and he has appeared on Mad TV.
Michael Danziger is a well known comic who was the first ever winner of the Funniest Person in Memphis Contest as well as the Funniest Jew in the Deep South.
Advance tickets can be purchased online through Brown Paper Tickets! Storytellers Unplugged features guest storytellers that inspire the Wiseguys improv comedy for an evening's entertainment you won't want to miss! Due to venue restrictions, you have to be 21 or older to attend. Tickets are $5 at the door.
