Show Your Love for Folklife: Featuring OK Sweetheart

On the evening of Valentine's Day, in addition to showing your love for your partners, friends, and family members, why not also show your love for one of the greatest donor-supported folk organizations in the region?

OK Sweetheart, will be lending her charming songwriting and gifted storytelling to the cause of NW Folklife, an organization that has a tradition spanning decades of supporting and strengthening the roots of folk culture in Seattle.

Doors at 7 pm. Music starts at 8 pm. Generously hosted by the Conor Byrne in Ballard on the evening of Friday, February 13th.

Joining OK Sweetheart will be Tekla Waterfield, a gifted songstress with a powerful voice and compelling songwriting; Tobias the Owl, voted "Best Songwriter" in the Seattle Sound Music Awards, and "Best Singer-Songwriter" in the Toronto Independent Music Awards; and Aaron Willsie, a perennial champion of regional acoustic music.

The whole night will feature host Samantha Lynn, former Seattle Pride Idol finalist, and host of the Columbia City Theater Open Mic Night.

The evening will also feature a silent auction of items donated by supporters of folk music and culture, including: Tickets provided by Seattle Living Room Shows; albums and merchandise from the performing musicians; and gifts from NW Folklife.

In addition to a wonderful night of great stories and songs, fans and audience members will have the opportunity to celebrate the mission of NW Folklife.
