This hilarious comedy follows a faltering vaudeville act as they decide to head west to take on Tinsel Town at the onset of the Talking Pictures. The trio's misadventures provide an uproarious look at the underbelly of Hollywood, including the megalomaniacal, illiterate producer; the imported New York playwright who loses his mind; and the talentless fame seekers yearning for fame and fortune, whatever the cost.
