Fly Birdsongs to the Fringe!
Join us for a first-look at Striding Lion's newly remounted and reworked production of BIRDSONGS, before it travels to the 6th Annual Boulder International Fringe Festival.
The story of one man's search for a girl in the virtual world, BIRDSONGS explores a world of narcissism and vanity, of self-branding and self-marketing, where people come and go quickly, and are never who they seem to be. Featuring 9 live, original rock songs, athletic and eclectic modern choreography, and text both original and lifted straight from the strange annals of the internet! Tickets to the evening include a first look at this dynamic production, a complimentary champagne and cupcake reception, and a CD of the original Striding Lion recording of the same name.
Proceeds from the evening will send this production out West and help break-ground on new Striding Lion programs in Colorado. A portion of the evening's ticket is tax-deductible.
