"I never play music I don't love," says the young violin prodigy Paul Huang, but whatever he decides to play, he does so, according to the New York Times: "subtlety, [and with] sense of how to shape the line dramatically but without exaggeration". Huang, a YCA discovery, has bonded closely with pianist Louis Schwizgebel, yet another prize winner of YCA's talent pool and named BBC's new generation artist 2013-15.
They will join in a trio- performance for GetClassical@ZincBar with cellist Julian Schwarz. The son of the venerable conductor Gerard Schwarz; here is a young artist whose presentations prove plenty of musical endowment to venture out and making it on his own, in this new collaboration.
On April 14th, the trio will perform their lately shaped, interactive program titled "Impressions," presenting works that include some of the masterpieces by the "impressionist music" by Maurice Ravel and César Franck, and works composed by Francis Poulenc.
