"Music Pick: Straight out of Boston in their veggie oil -powered band van, The Grownup Noise is a playfully poppy indie rock quartet with armfuls of groove. Their basic rock instrumentationdrums, guitar and bassis laced with melodic vocals and stirring cello."
-The Valley Advocate, Northampton, Ma

New York's Bridges and Powerlines have packed venues throughout the northeast to see their energetic shows. Demos recorded in fall and winter of 2005-2006 were lauded by several influential indie publications and blogs, describing their endeavor as "an exhilarating racket" (sixeyes) that "might be the next band everyone is talking about." (New York Press)

Mining indie rock, country, and the worst of basic cable, The Longwalls make American pop music. Featuring ex-Gatsby heroes Alan Wuorinen and Brandon Comstock with Dan London (frmr. Nag Champa) and DQ mastermind Kurt Von Stetten on drums, The Longwalls stalk a line from classic indie rock to big-twang Americanawith heady stops along the way.

As their name may indicate, The Queen Killing Kings is an unusual act. Eschewing the classic rock line-up, they feature two keyboardists and no guitars. Their lyrics are filled with references to demons, witches, and condemned killers, yet they're hardly gloom-filled Goths; instead, their music is inviting and catchy.
