Strangeloop Season Pass 2010-2011
Come join us for Strangeloop Theatre's 2010-2011 Season! The season pass includes one admission to both of our full-lenth shows, presented at Trap Door Theatre, as well as our holiday cabaret. That's 3 shows for $30!
"The Sound of a Yellow Flower": September 10th - October 3rd, 2010
A world-premiere play written by company member Dustin Spence and developed from a short scene presented as a part of "Loopshop" in 2009, "The Sound of a Yellow Flower" examines the interconnected relationships between four characters in Belarus and how one decisive moment changes all of their lives. Love and violence intertwine, as these four hope for a future and sort through the broken remains of their past.
"The Maid of Orleans": May 5th - May 29th, 2011
Written in 1801 by master of the German classical stage, Friedrich Schiller, "The Maid of Orleans" is a historical tragedy based on the life of Joan of Arc. The nature of belief, fate, loyalty, determination and doubt are explored through the wondrous and tragic life of a young girl who became a legendary warrior.
Holiday Cabaret: December 2010
Date and details TBA.
$30 includes admission to all three shows. Please schedule in advance of performance. When ordering, select "May 29" as the date from the menu.
