LEENYA RIDEOUT is a veteran of Broadway ("Cabaret," "Company," and "Cyrano de Bergerac"), film ("Mona Lisa Smile", "The Singing Boologist," et al.), and television. A singer/songwriter as well as soloist and with the comedy/country-western "sister trio" The Chalks, her solo CD "Phoenix" is available on iTunes (and at this performance). Leenya is a two-time medal winner and won the Johnny Mercer Award in the Savannah Music Festival's American Traditions Vocal Competition.
When not performing, Leenya is a professor of voice at New York University, and will be leading this evening's Acoustic Jam. Bring your guitar, mandolin, fiddle, voice -- or just your enthusiasm and sense of fun -- and join us!

The SGDA also welcomes Haitian born jewelry artist MARIE ST. VICTOR-KOCH whose custom-designed beaded jewelry will be on sale; she has been successfully selling her wares to raise funds for her earthquake-stricken country. She has chosen Partners In Health as the recipient of proceeds collected because of their honorable reputation and because they have been dedicated to the well being of Haitians for over twenty years.
