PortSide New York presents: The Seven Deadly Seas! by Cabaret Red Light (Aug. 20, 8pm)
In The Seven Deadly Seas: Waylaid & Hornswoggled, Cabaret Red Light brings its unique brand of agitprop and cabaret theater to PortSide in Red Hook, Brooklyn, for a once-in-a-lifetime theater-in-the-round-and-under-the-stars pirate show on board the Tall Ship Gazela, the oldest tall ship in the United States still sailing. The show will feature seafaring legends old and new, live gypsy swing music, dancing girls and a variety of classic vaudeville-style "entertainment for grown-ups." Starring Cubby Altobelli, Shoshanna Hill, Kimberlie Cruse as the Pirates of Ponzi, as well as Annie A-Bomb, Melissa Bang-Bang, and gypsy-funk sensation The Blazing Cherries.
