Mando World Tour Concert
Tim Connell and Jack Dwyer (Mando Planet) have a created a unique mandolin-based approach world music. During this concert, the Munier Mandolin & Guitar Orchestra and the Philadelphia Mandolin Ensemble join Mando Planet on their musical excursions. All three groups remain on stage for the duration of the performance. The groups perform separately and in combination. The first set explores musical traditions that typically include the mandolin (e.g., Brazilian choro, American bluegrass). During the second half, the mandolin "boldly goes where no (or very few) mandolins have gone before."
