American River Folk Society Valentines Dinner Dance

The American River Folk Society is putting on the second annual Valentine Dinner Dance on February 14 beginning at 6 pm in the IOOF Hall in Georgetown. There will be a cocktail hour from 6 to 7 pm, where fine crafted beer and wine will be available along with the signature cocktail of the evening, a 'Berry French Kiss'. A sit down dinner will be served beginning around 7 pm with an entrée choice of filet of beef with blackberry wine sauce, roasted chicken wrapped in prosciutto and sage, or pasta with seasonal vegetables in a white wine sauce (vegetarian), all prepared by Nadia Buchwald. The dress is a causal but if you want to wear your fancy duds then dress to impress. After dinner around 8:30 pm the Island of Black and White will take the stage to play their magical music that will get you tapping your toes, and dancing the dinner calories away. Tickets for the Dinner Dance are $30. There are a limited number of tickets available and last year we sold out. There will also be a silent auction where you can pick us something nice and special for your sweetie. This is a benefit for the American River Folk Society's many programs (www.AmericanRiverFolk.org) and is a GDRD community partner event.
