After recording and performing together for years in the Gerry Beaudoin Trio they have developed a near telepathic connection to each other and the music. During the recording of a commercial CD project, they laid down a few tracks together during sound check not realizing that the engineer had left on the recording equipment. In a burst of complete spontaneity Gerry just started playing and and Jesse fell in behind him. Thirty six minutes later they had recorded five songs of what Gerry, a veteran of numerous recording sessions, said was, "some of the best playing either of us had ever done." Liking what they heard in playback they quickly recorded three more tracks. The result is their duo CD, Blues In The Corner Pocket.
