Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest
The Des Moines Rotary Club invites you to attend the Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from Noon - 7pm. 100% of the net proceeds from this event will support our Music4Youth program expanding the opportunity for music education to youth in our local schools.
Enjoy a day filled with local blues from Dudley Taft, Becki Sue and her Big Rockin' Daddies, the Cold Shot Band, the Stacy Jones Band and Rod Cook together with a variety of fine brews from 10-15 local breweries. To complement your Blues and Brews, we will be barbecuing Bratwursts and B&E Market's famous Tri Tip Sandwiches for your dining enjoyment. The Festival will be located on the shores of Puget Sound at the Des Moines Beach Park.
This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, you must be 21 or older to attend and no pets will be allowed inside the event. There will be plenty of free parking in the Des Moines Marina. While you are in town you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmers Market and enjoy the Des Moines Art Walk. Low back back lawn chair and picnic, blankets are allowed. No outside food or beverages will be allowed. Five tasting tokens included with the price of admission. CASH ONLY AT EVENT NO CREDIT CARDS!
